I’m the registered childminder behind Perky Tots Day Care—a warm, welcoming home-from-home where children feel safe, have fun and learn through play.
Childcare that feels like home
At Perky Tots, every day is built around the individual child. Our setting combines the comfort and personal attention of home-based care with purposeful activities that support development, confidence and curiosity.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), using play, conversation, creativity and everyday adventures to help children build the skills they need for their next steps.
Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, form close relationships and enjoy a happy rhythm of indoor play, outdoor discovery and local trips.

Qualified care you can feel confident in
Strong safeguarding, regular training and a clear early-years approach underpin everything we do.
Registered care
Registered through @Home Childcare and Ofsted, working across the relevant childcare registers.
First aid trained
Fully trained in paediatric first aid and prepared to respond calmly and appropriately.
Enhanced DBS
A full enhanced DBS check supports a safe and carefully managed childcare setting.
Ongoing training
Annual checks and continuing training through the @Home Childcare programme.
A lovely village setting with plenty to explore
Perky Tots is based on the same road as Ranskill Primary School, making local school runs convenient. The village also gives us access to enjoyable walks and a lovely enclosed children’s park.
Our core early-years care welcomes children from birth to five, with wraparound and holiday care available for school-age children.
Funded and private places
We accept eligible funded childcare and private bookings. @Home Childcare can also help manage the funded-place paperwork, making the process simpler for families.
